The Shockerd is a designer dog cross between English Shepherd and Cocker Spaniel. These breeds are known to be sweet, affectionate, mild-mannered medium sized dogs. They are loyal, territorial, family oriented with a cheerful, tail-wagging eagerness to please like their Cocker Spaniel parent. They can be shy at times so its best to keep them socialized or raised together with other pets.
Shockerd comes in variations of different colors but are mostly visibly in golden brown with shades of white on the chest, tail and feet and a little black marking on the ears. Others may appear to be dominant in black, sable and white, black and tan, black and white, or even in tricolors.
Shockerds have a thick, double coat. It can either be straight, wavy or slightly curly and can be even grown long or short according to the preference of the owner.
The Shockerd is a sweet, adorable and mild mannered. They loves people and are friendly even to children and other dogs. They are not breed for guard dogs but to stick with their owners and follow directions well, which makes them a great companion dog. They are eager to please their owners and loves when they are given the attention.
The Shockerd sheds moderate to low and may require regular brushing. They are very easy to groom as well. Their coat can be trimmed or left to grow long according to the preference of their owner.

Shockerds are energetic, lively and playful. They will need moderate exercise and a room to roam around. They do not want to be left alone for long hours, they can be destructive and noisy when bored.
