General
They are great family dogs with very pleasing personality. They are friendly, affectionate, playful. Some Siberian Retrievers look more of a Husky appearance but taller while most of them resembles a Labrador Retriever. They are also great watchdog with their size and are good with military and police works.
Color
Siberian Retrievers come in black and white and some are mixed with copper or light brown combinations.
Coat
The Siberian Retriever has a short, silky, double coat.
Personality
Siberian Retrievers are very highly smart, enthusiastic, lively and affectionate. They make a great humane companion and are great family dogs. They can be very useful to those who know their capabilities, like being a guide for the blind and service dogs for the disabled. They are loyal and obedient to their owners.
Care
Siberian Retrievers are easy to take care of. They are careful with what they eat and eats less than you expect. They shed moderately so brushing and grooming regularly are required.
Training
Siberian Retrievers are intelligent dogs. They can be trained easily and learns quick and fast. However, they can be difficult to housebreak and can think on their own. They will obey the command if they think that it is reasonable and they see the point in doing so. They can be destructive to home when they don't have enough training.
Activity
Siberian Retrievers are highly energetic and playful. They need extreme exercise to burn off their energy and they enjoy lots of outdoor activities. They are also great in indoors and love running in the yard without the leash.
