General
The Silkchon is a Bichon Frise and Poodle mix. They are fun-loving, affectionate, energetic and playful to their owners. They loved when they are being pleased and when they became the center of the attention. They love to please their owners as well, and they are loyal and obedient.
Color
Silkchon comes in brown, red-brown, tan and cream colors at first. When they grow older they come in white with cream and brown making all over their body, ears and head.
Coat
Silkchon has a soft fur, straight, double-layered coat like that resembles them to their Bichon Frise parent.
Personality
Silkchons have a great personality. They are friendly to other pets and other people. They are fun to be with and are great with family relationships. They are alert and enthusiastic and alarms their owners whenever they sense something mysterious, stray dogs or strangers are near. They mostly barks when they are alarmed or even when they enjoying playing.
Care
Silkchons sheds low to none but their coat still needs regular brushing and grooming to prevent matting and tangling of fur.
Training
Silkchons are averagely intelligent dogs. They can be easily trained and learn fast and quick. They need gentle training method and repetition to grasp the basic obedience concept. A harsh and irrational training will not do good for them for they may become stubborn and hard headed, thus making it hard to train them.
Activity
Silkchons are extremely playful dogs. They do not require much exercise but are highly energetic. They burn off their energy mostly by playing. They would love having lots of toys and when they were given time to play with their owners. They enjoy when they have the attention they needed and loves to please their owners.
