Silky Pugs are designer breeds cross between Pug and Silky Terrier. These breeds are loving, lively, and friendly. They are great companions to those who are single.

Color

Silky Pug comes in combinations of brown, tan, cream, apricot-fawn and has black marks and marking on their ears, to their tails.

Coat

The Silky Pug has a fine, fury, short coat.

Personality

Silky Pug are affectionate, loving breeds. They are friendly to people and other dogs, they can even be raised together with children. They can be alert at times and are a barker, they alarm their family whenever they senses strangers, mysterious noises and stray dogs.

Care

Silky Pugs somehow sheds moderately sheds with their short, fury coat. They need twice a week brushing and grooming to keep their coat looking good. Bathing should be done when necessary to refrain damaging of hair.

Training

Silky Pugs rate below average in intelligence and trainability. Nevertheless, early obedience training and socialization is recommended. Patience in training together with firmness, fairness, consistency and repetition would be good in training these breeds.

Activity

Silky Pugs are playful dogs which requires average exercise, perhaps one to two hour walk would be fine. They are not that energetic, unlike other small dogs, however they are playful especially with toys. They loves to please their owners and does not want to be left alone in the house for long hours.
