General
Weimardoodles are cross between Weimaraner and Poodle. These dogs are affectionate and known to be devoted to its owner. These breeds are hypo-allergenic, low shedding of coat to none. They can be a great watchdog with their size.
Color
Weimardoodles comes in variations of different colors depending on which color they inherit from their parent. They are seen most likely in apricot, white and black, or in combinations of tan, reddish-brown to brown.
Coat
The coat of a Weimardoodle can be hard and short like the Weimaraner or slightly curly like that of a Poodle.
Personality
Weimardoodles are lovable, very affectionate and dependent dogs. They are not best to be left alone in the house especially for long hours because they get destructive and noisy when bored. Some may even suffer from separation anxiety. Typically, Weimardoodles get along well with children, other dogs or other pets raised together with them. But some, gets uneasy with strangers and gets jealous with new born or new pets on the house so its better to keep them socialized. Nevertheless, they make a great family dog.
Care
Weimardoodles are low shedders however, they will need a regular brushing and grooming of coat to prevent matting, remove dead hairs and maintain their good-looking coat. Their ears also needs to be cleaned on a regular basis to prevent infection. Bathing should be done when necessary using a mild soap.
Training
Weimardoodle are very smart breeds and are known to be highly trainable. They inherit their intelligence from their Poodle parent and the devotion from their Weimaraner parent. Training this breed is easy especially on a positive and gentle approach.
Activity
Weimardoodles are very playful, energetic and lively. They typically do best in larger spaces with their size and may require at least a moderate size yard. They will need to be taken outdoors more often to burn off their energy and not to keep them bored.
