Breed Details

General

Westeke are cross breeds from West Highland Terrier and Schipperke. They are small sized dogs and have a coat which mostly comes in white, sometimes even in cream colors. They are good family dogs and also good with other canine but need to be trained from the beginning. They are also good with children.

Color

Westeke are available in white, sometimes with the touches of brown to black and cream colourings.

Coat

Westeke dogs have a medium, silky coat.

Personality

Westeke are very loving dogs and make for good family pets. They are happy, smart and fun dogs for the whole family. Early age socialization with other pets and dogs are advised to maintain good relationship.

Care

Westeke dogs do no shed much, however occasional brushing of the coat is enough.

Training

Westeke dogs need to be trained from the beginning for them to have a good relationship with the children and other pets in the family. They will eventually learn fast since these dogs are smart.

Activity

Westeke dogs are playful and fun to be with. Adequate exercise are needed to keep his/her good health.
