Breed Details
General
Westillon are cross breeds from Papillon and West Highland Terrier. They are not very suitable as a guard dog because of their size. A very affectionate, loveable dog with a very great personality and require lots of attention from their owners.
Color
Westillon usually comes in white with touches of tan to brown colors.
Coat
Westillon has long coats which needs to be groomed from time to time.
Personality
Westillon are very loveable, playful and energetic dogs. They can get along with other pets that have been raised together with them. They love to bark and can be a little destructive at times when left alone for extended period of times, whenever they feel lonely and bored.
Care
Westillon dogs need moderate grooming because of their long coats. Depending upon the owner, they can be cut or stayed long. Bathing is also advised to maintain good hygiene.
Training
Early Socialization of Westillon dogs and obedience is recommended. Westillons may be difficult to house-train. Training must be done with firmness, fairness, patience and consistency. Since these dogs are intelligent, they can learn easily with repetition and proper guidance.
Activity
Westillons are small and are well suited for apartment living provided they sufficiently exercised. They are moderately energetic dogs and need exercises. They enjoy family activities and loves going off-leash in parks.
