General

Westons are designer dogs cross between the West Highland White Terrier and Coton de Tulear. They are good companions and are a great family dog. They are lovable, charming, fun, lively and energetic. Their fluffy coat from their coton de tulear parent makes you love to cuddle them.

Color

Westons commonly appears to be in solid white color.

Coat

Westons have a thick, cottony or rather fluffy, double-layered coat. Their coat can be grown long depending upon the preference of their owner. Some may get the cottony coat from their coton de tulear parent.

Personality

Westons have a very pleasing, charming personality. They are friendly to people but mostly establishes good relationship with other dogs. They are a barker and are alert. They alarm their owners whenever they hear mysterious sounds, when strangers or stray dogs are around. They are non-aggressive, affectionate, lovable and lively.

Care

Westons shed little to none. With their small size, they made perfect for apartments or small houses, but expect them to be running around and be energetic and playful. Their medium to long coat needs regular brushing and grooming to prevent matting and maintain its good-looking appearance. Bathing should be done when necessary, especially for keeping them clean.

Training

Westons are moderately intelligent breeds. Their being cute and charming can be a hindrance to their learning. It would be advisable for them to have a fair and consistent with a lot of patience and repetition on their training.

Activity

The Westons are very playful, energetic and lively. They will need high attention regarding their exercise. Giving them 2-3 hours of runs and lots of outdoor activities would be better for them. However, they can stay in indoors provided that they get enough exercises they needed.
