Vaginal Inflammation in Dogs

Vaginitis is the term used to describe inflammation of vagina in female dogs. The condition is an inflammation of the vagina that can result in discharge, itching and pain.

Though happens rarely, the condition can occur at any age and in any breed.

Symptoms associated with vaginitis are 

Discharge from the vulva

Male attraction (due to vaginal discharge)

Frequent urination (polyuria), even in improper locations

Frequent licking of the vagina (due irritation caused by inflammation)
