Dog has difficulty swallowing unless food particles are abnormally small. Drooling, sometimes with blood, Gagging, Dropping food, Repeated attempts at swallowing, vomitting, Weight loss, pain etc may be signs of Dysphagia. Causes could be allergy, inflammation of chewing muscles, trauma to oral cavity, tumors, infections or paralysis or nervous disorders pertaining to the digestive or respiratory system.
